Fed up with discrimination and horrible treatment, highlighted from the start of the coffee morning, I was inspired to ask everyone, drawing on my experience of various liberation movements, the obvious question: isn't it time we took back control of the words so often used to insult us, and turned them round to something we are positively PROUD of, as other oppressed groups have!
